Weekend Wrap-Up

This week I took a break from work travel which was very needed. I had been so homesick that even on the weekends it was hard for me to enjoy it because I was dreading another week away. Luckily there is light at the end of the tunnel because the next few months will be a lot slower and I am pumped.  I've just gotta make it through a few more weeks. Wohoo!

We kicked off the fun with an early dinner at one of our favorite places. Boston is a hit or miss when it comes to eating out but he was great this outing as long as we had food in front of him. Specifically, "nanas".

After stuffing our faces, we came home and worked off a few calories, playing with some birthday toys. He is loving this blow up cow my best friend got him. You can find it HERE.
The weather finally let up a bit and allowed us to hang out outside with our mason jar of Tito's and country on the radio. It is one of our favorite things to do.
Saturday was a crazy busy day full of errands for a baby shower I helped throw Sunday and a graduation dinner that night. But I was able to sneak in a girls date with my sis and mom for a late Mother's Day celebration. We saw Age of Adeline which was great and we even snuck in our favorite snacks just like old times to make it even more fun.
Sunday was spent baby shower throwing which never gets old in my book. I'll post details later this week. I love a good party. :D

  1. What a great weekend girl! That blow up cow toy, oh my goodness ADORABLE. Sneaking snacks into the movie is always one of my favorite parts. The bigger the purse the better, right?! Happy Hump Day!

    1. Haha exactly!! It is the only benefit of a huge purse. Otherwise it's just a sink hole. ;P
